Chang La Pass , Ladakh

  • Situated at an altitude of 5,360 meters above sea level, Chang La Pass boasts of being the third highest motorable pass in the world. With extreme conditions, Chang La Pass is a place that can be reached after a spell of adventurous driving. The place has been known to test you as it gets difficult to breathe after staying here for 20-25 minutes. 

    Often used to reach Pangong Lake, Chang La Pass is also famous for having the world’s highest station of Defence Research and Development Organisation. With an unparalleled scenic beauty, Chang La Pass is often visited by the tourists for its famous temple where people tie Tibetan flags wishing for a happy journey ahead.
