Built in the memory of valiant soldiers who laid down their lives in the infamous Indo-Pak war, Hall of Fame is a wonderful break in places to visit in Ladakh. It is one of the must visit places for history and culture lovers and maintained by the Indian Army. It boasts of many interesting displays and has many sections.
People here can catch a look of various weapons and armory that was used in the war. There are also many pictures concerning the life of soldiers at Siachen glacier. Many pictures of Kargil War can also be seen here that recounts the fascinating history of an integral event in the history of Indian Army.
Highlights: One of the most striking features of this place is the beautiful statue of Lord Buddha with a very heart-touching message- "It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell."
